Four Components of 21****st Century Religion Called Christianity:

  • Transactional Relationship. Transactions are event-based, interests-based, and profit-based. Is your relationship with God a mere transaction?

    • Key Question: Based on what Jesus did for us and will do for us, do you live your life behaving for Him?

  • Believe in Jesus. Believe that the life of Jesus is in us. Believe that the Holy Spirit lives within us. Believe that God can work through us.

    • Key Question: In your life, is there any present evidence to the historical reality of Jesus or is it all just belief?

  • Experience What Jesus Gives. Experience the peace of God. Experience the love of God. Experience the joy of God. Experience the good things that God gives. Experience the Holy Spirit as a feeling/emotion. A good experience is God and a bad experience is the devil. Be motivated and stay positive.

    • Key Question: Are you going after what God gives or after who He is?

  • Express Right Behavior. Fight for the rights of godly matters. Support missions. Go to church. Give to the offering. Read the Bible. Pray. Attend Bible studies. Evangelize.

    • Key Question: To what end and what purpose do you do these activities?
